What is Collagen Induction Therapy/Dermal Needling
Dermal Needling is performed with a dermapen. A device with tiny titanium needles which are employed to gently penetrate the skin surface. The needle tips make very tiny small points through the outer most layer of skin. By causing controlled injury this stimulates the healing cascade process which increases blood flow and collagen re-growth. Different depths are employed depending on the indication for treatment.
Light Penetration allows molecules in specially formulated cocktails to penetrate through the skins natural barrier, this is usually used as part of Collagen Induction Therapy. Combining needling with a meso-cocktail containing vitamins, minerals and amino acids and essentially hyaluronic acid improves hydration,skin tone and texture leaving a beautiful plumped firm skin. 
Mid penetration is used to treat sun damage and light scarring to improve skin texture and tone, further improves the appearance of pore size.
Deeper levels have a very positive impact on acne scars, burn scars, stretch marks tightening skin and softening wrinkles.
